Teapots made from YiXing (pronounced ee-shing) clay, in the tradition began by Chinese Emperor Sung 1000 years ago. The special clay has a seasoning quality that makes it ideal for brewing tea. Over time the teapot captures the essence of your favorite brew, its' smell, flavor and color. Unlike common large teapots for social brewing, these are historically intended for personal use, and sized for 1-2 servings of tea.
